At NorthStar Soccer Ministries we love soccer. Staff and volunteers have lots of fun teaching the game to youth. Many of the kids we work with would not have the opportunity to play soccer otherwise and their opportunities to participate in any sports program (especially one taking them to competition around the region) would be limited. The true value lies in the opportunity to shape lives—by mentoring, building skills that foster self-confidence, and developing social abilities through the team experience.​​​

Our Mission
NorthStar Soccer Ministries mission is to invest in the lives of urban youth in Birmingham by providing a high quality Soccer Club within a holistic, Christian environment. We also provide opportunities for the local community and local business to share in our investment in enriching these children's lives.

We exist to provide youth with the knowledge, skills and confidence to set a positive direction in life.
